1972: LBG is Born three march 1972 in Pieve di Cento, Bologna, Italy. 1980's: LBG makes his first approaches to music near the end of seventies during the "Disco" years, despite this he will form his musical education with classics albums of sixties and seventies era like the Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, the Rolling Stones, CSN&Y, Eric Clapton, Van Halen and all the rest of the rock music of the period, soon LBG will develop interest also for Blues, Classical, Jazz, Country, Fusion and other kinds of music. 1985: After developing a passion for the music of the English band The Who LBG it begins to play seriously the guitar inspired by giants of the instrument like Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, David Gilmour, Eddie Van Halen, Mark Knopfler, Steve Vai and many more. 1990: In spring LBG playing the lead guitar during an audition for the Italian songwriter Lucio Dalla, for the occasion is accompanied from bass player Andrea Righi formerly of the early Vasco Rossi’s backing band. 1991: LBG found the rock/blues/funk cover band BLACK JACK and play mainly in the north of Italy, the band will break up in 1996. 1993: LBG records the lead guitar in the track "Milano" written by Marco Chiarelli for the album "Compilation Europa", in the same period LBG found with friend Guitarist Cesare Biondi the duo called UNCLE PIG a musical melting pot where there's not limits of musical influences and sounds experimentations. 1997: LBG play live with Hard rock/New wave band MAGORAY he's own song "Istanti" on TMC2 TV channel during the musical show “Help” directed by music giournalist Red Ronnie. 1998/2000: LBG perform live mainly in the locals of center Bologna with the acoustic duo Luke & Jake, in summer of 2000 he reform Uncle Pig project and record the "comeback" album "Delikatessen", LBG found the rock/pop group EXIT. 2001: After the Exit experience he record his first album "SHAKE THE TREE" in collaboration with bass player and producer Marco Tarozzi. 2002: LBG join the friend bass and Stick player Marco Govoni for the progressive rock project LETHAL KITCHEN, the duo record the album "The Goffer's Revenge", LBG join the band ROVINA POWER with whom still plays. 2003: LBG it is engaged like solo musician in several tourist villages of the north and south Italy, near the end of the same year undertakes he’s first travel in USA crossing all the West Coast. 2004: In june LBG he’s moved to living with his girlfriend in a little country called Caluso near Turin (Italy) where he continue he’s own musical activity recording and producing in her private studio a series of instrumental albums where he plays all the instruments including INSIDE (2004) THE EASTWEST POINT (2005) IN THE HEAT (2006) and ON AND ON (2007), he play also in various cover bands including Poets of Dharma, Badwolf, Give Up Soul and Bob & Joe, in june 2004 LBG makes the first of several trips to London (ENGLAND). 2005: LBG he record in his private studio a tribute album to the music of Pete Townshend the guitarist composer of the Who called "BEHIND BLUE EYES", near the end of the year LBG join the pop band PLANET GROUP with whom still plays, LBG play lead guitar on the track "A Darkglassbell" for the Progressive rock band CHAPTER ZERO (leaded by Marco Govoni) first album "Sad Memories". 2006: LBG he complete another cover album called "COMING UP a tribute to the music of Paul McCartney", in the same year he record the album "Monstro" with Uncle Pig, a parody of Jazz and Blues standards songs. 2007: In february LBG plays live with PLANET GROUP in front of 15,000 people in Ivrea's Square, In spring 2007 LBG producing another original album of new songs called "ON AND ON" in his new attic studio called KIMERA, this is the first album LBG uses the Roland guitar synthesizer, during the year LBG play lead guitars on three tracks for the second CHAPTER ZERO album "Beyond the Door", in june He married his girlfriend with catholic rite in the church of their country, in late summer LBG form with friends musicians the acoustic tribute to the Beatles FOR SALE For more info on Luca Gotti visit: www.lucagotti.it
