Ronny North plays his own signature brand of instrumental guitar rock and is fast becoming a So Cal guitar hero. He has appeared in several national and international music publications and has been featured in ad campaigns and catalogs for his various sponsors. MTV licensed Ronny’s music from his Smeared CD for their "Real World" reality TV program. In January 2006, Ronny released his Going Psyko CD to rave reviews. The song "Race with Me" is featured on the Morley Compilation CD that is available free at all authorized Morley dealers or from www.morley.com. The Going Psyko CD was featured in both the February 2006 issue of Guitar Player Magazine and the Spring 2006 issue of Frets Magazine. Ronny has a signature model guitar coming out by KGB Guitars in July 2006 as well as a signature model Distortion/Overdrive pedal coming out by AMT Electronics in the summer of 2006. Ronny is now the host of his own cable show called "In the Now with Ronny North" that will air on Comcast Cable in the summer of 2006. He will be featured in the Minarik Guitars ad in the September 2006 issue of Guitar World Magazine. Later in the year, he will be releasing his all acoustic instrumental CD, Acoustify. Ronny has received extensive press, airplay, has sold many CDs throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan, and regularly opens up for national acts. Ronny has been a judge for Guitar Center's Guitarmageddon Guitar Competition for the last 3 years. He also has a philanthropic side: he has performed at the Special Olympics Summer Games for the last several years; he has played events for Toys for Tots and the Troops in Iraq; and he has performed at several benefits for musicians in need.
